<h3>About the CCEN program:</h3> <p>The program aims to provide the students with advanced and comprehensive coverage of specialist skills required by an engineer working in electronic instrumentation, electronic systems, telecommunications (both wireless and wired), and computer hardware and software aspects of computer engineering. Recognizing the need for well-rounded engineers, the program also emphasizes strong communication and interpersonal skills. The enrolled students develop these skills not only through required courses in the humanities and social sciences but also during team projects in design classes.</p> <h3>CCEN Mission:</h3> <p>To provide students with educational experiences which give them a sound basis in computer and communication systems and to prepare the qualified graduates to be professionals capable of being leaders in their chosen careers, committed to life-long learning, innovation, critical thinking, integrity, and civic responsibility.</p> <h3>CCEN Goals:</h3> <p><strong>The undergraduate education in the NU Computer and Communication Engineering Department prepares students to achieve our Program Education Objectives (POE):</strong></p> <p>Goal1: Use basic science and engineering concepts and skills in interpretation, analysis, and design situations.</p> <p>Goal2: Engage in successful careers in industry, academia, and public service.</p> <p>Goal3: Continue their professional development through continuing education and personal development experiences.</p> <p>Goal4: Communicate with teamwork skills as well as an appreciation for ethical behavior.</p> <h2>Consistency of the Program Mission and Educational Objectives with the Mission of the Institution</h2> <p>The program mission and educational objectives are consistent with those of the University. The key sentence of the University of Nawroz’s mission statement is:</p> <p>“<em>Meet the cultural needs of Kurdistan through commitment to the educational, technological, and economic development of the society.”</em></p> <p>These correspond to CCEN’s mission:</p> <p>“<em>Provide students with educational experiences which give them a sound basis in computer and communication systems and to prepare the qualified graduates to be professionals capable of being leaders in their chosen careers”</em></p> <h3>CCEN PLOS:</h3> <p><strong>Students graduating from the Computer and Communication Engineering Department at NU will be expected and prepared to exercise the skills and abilities (a) through (k) listed in the Program Learning Outcomes below:</strong></p> <ol> <li>An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.</li> <li>An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.</li> <li>An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.</li> <li>An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams.</li> <li>An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.</li> <li>An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.</li> <li>An ability to communicate effectively.</li> <li>The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.</li> <li>A recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning.</li> <li>A knowledge of contemporary issues.</li> </ol> <p>An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.</p>
<p> <strong>حول القسم</strong></p> <p>تأسس قسم الهندسة المعمارية في تموز 2013 في رحاب كلية الهندسة في جامعة نوروز، وقُبلت اول دفعة للعام الدراسي 2013-2014 وذلك للحصول على شهادة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المعمارية. يسعى القسم دائماً الى التحسين والتطوير المستمر في المجال التعليمي والبحثي وإعداد كوادر هندسية متخصصة في العمارة وبناء القدرات الهندسية لتحقيق العمران المستدام والحفاظ على التراث الثقافي المحلي ومواكبة التطور العالمي، ومتميزه بقدرات تمكنهم من القيام بمهامهم المتمثلة في إعداد التصميمات والرسومات التنفيذية للمشاريع السكنية والإدارية والتعليمية والصحية وأعمال الإشراف والمتابعة لها إلى جانب إعداد المخططات العامة للمناطق الحضرية والريفية ومخططات المدن وغيرها. وبالتالي إيجاد خريج متمكن لدية الموهبة للتذوق والإحساس بالجمال، فالعمارة تعتبر علم وفن مجتمعين، ولذلك فالدراسة بالقسم تركز على كلا الجانبين. مدة الدراسة في قسم الهندسة المعمارية هي خمس سنوات ولغة الدراسة في هذا القسم هي اللغة الانكليزية. يقبل هذا القسم خريجي الفرع العلمي فقط من الدراسة الاعدادية.</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p> <p>تأسس قسم الهندسة المدنية في كلية الهندسة / جامعة نوروز في تشرين الثاني (نوفمبر) 2021. تم قبول الدفعة الأولى من الطلاب في العام الدراسي 2021-2022، القسم يمنح درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية.</p> <p>يعد تصميم وبناء البنية التحتية للمجمعات الحضرية مهمة أساسية للهندسة المدنية. يستخدم المهندسون المدنيون معرفتهم بالرياضيات والعلوم الفيزيائية في تطوير طرق لتسخير الموارد الطبيعية وقوى الطبيعة لحماية البيئة وتحسين رفاهية الإنسان. الهندسة المدنية هي مهنة تخدم الإنسان لأنها مسؤولة عن جميع أنظمة البنية التحتية المدنية مثل منشئات إمدادات المياه ومعالجتها وطرق معالجة النفايات وإنشاء الطرق والجسور والسدود وخدمات الاتصالات والسكك الحديدية وتنظيم المرور. يؤدي عمل المهندسين إلى تحسين الصحة العامة ونوعية الحياة، ولهم تأثير مباشر على المجتمع وقدرته على خلق حضارة مستدامة.</p> <p>مدة الدراسة 4 سنوات ولغة التدريس هي اللغة الإنجليزية. فقط خريجي الفرع العلمي في المدارس الإعدادية يقبلون في قسم الهندسة المدنية.</p> <p><strong>رؤية القسم:</strong></p> <ol> <li>1. إعداد مهندسين مدنيين يتمتعون بإمكانيات قيادية وذوي تأثير في مجال البناء والانشاءات</li> <li>2. تأهيل مهندسين مدنيين ذوي أخلاقيات مهنية عالية ومهارات اتصال فعالة يعملون بروح الفريق الواحد</li> <li>إعداد المهندسين المتميزين محلياً وإقليمياً ممن لديهم القدرة على تصميم وتنفيذ المشاريع الهندسية وفق أحدث التقنيات</li> </ol> <p><strong>اهداف القسم:</strong></p> <p>1.إعداد مهندسين في التخصصات المختلفة للهندسة المدنية وباحثين مؤهلين يتمتعون بمستوى عالٍ من المعرفة والابتكار بما يتماشى مع المعايير المعتمدة دوليًا في ضمان الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي للبرامج الهندسية مع الالتزام بـأخلاقيات مهنة الهندسة</p> <ol> <li>العمل على تعزيز جودة التعليم والبحث لتلبية الاحتياجات الصناعية والسكنية والمجتمعية.</li> <li>زرع روح المنافسة لدى الطلاب على متابعة التعليم العالي والامتحانات التنافسية ودورات تحسين الحياة الوظيفية المختلفة</li> <li>إعطاء الطلاب المهارات التي يبحث عنها أصحاب العمل، والحصول على فرص للتعامل مع الشركات بعد التخرج</li> </ol>
